Kuleng's retirement. The cute survivors.

Because Kuleng is so hardworking father, sweet Siwi, again, became pregnant. June 2011 when she gave birth to four puppies, but unluckily, only 2 of them lived. Of course, we were sad for the two pups who didn't make it, but also happy for the two new members of the family. :)

We named them "Lucio", named by my sister,

 and "Babbe", from my mother.

They are both males, that is why old Kuleng can now retire being the main worker (banger) in the family, lol. We call them the survivors.


These two new pups love to sleep in plates, yes, plates used for eating. :D

and and to sleep the unusual way for their kind. They actually sleep like humans.

These two new tiny cute creatures just learned how to walk, that's why they are now free to explore around the house. :)

Osang, the Black Beauty

This post proves that Kuleng is a real "macho" guy. :D He is the king here, and he owns all the female dogs in our house. hahaha!

After Siwi, now it's time for Candy to have kids. March 2011 when Candy the vain gave birth to three puppies, of course Kuleng was the father. The three pups were named "Hershey", "Rocher", and "Twix". It isn't so obvious that my sister's really fond of chocolates.

Here they are. :) I'm sorry for the quality of the picture, well, we're not that rich to have a better camera. :p

Two of them, Twix and Hershey, were sold to my ate's friends, and Rocher was left in our home. Taking care of dogs for a business isn't that bad at all. :)

Today, Rocher is now 4 months old, and she's like the dark version of his father Kuleng. She's our first Shih Tzu with dark complexion. And of course, later after she was born, her "alias" was formed. Now, she is known in our house as "Osang" (from the name of the famous bold star in the Philippine Movies). I do not really know how their nicknames were formulated, but I like it, haha.

One unique talent of Osang is that, she can pee while running. I do not know how'd she do that, but whenever she gets excited seeing people, she runs to them and actually pees. Well, that's one heck of a talent. hahaha! Like her mother and father (Candy and Kuleng), she's the sweet naughty type. She loves being carried and hugged by people.

and Yes, she actually smiles at the camera. :D

Rest in Peace, Brono.. :'( :'( :'(

As you can notice in the title, this post is a tragedy....

Not so long after Candy arrived, Siwi, again gave birth to two healthy puppies. We named them "Brono" and "Byoti".

Brono is male, and Byoti is female, they are like twins, (of course they are) but with opposite qualities. Byoti is behave and silent, while Brono was wild. Byoti is quiet, while Brono was so noisy. Byoti is big, while Brono was lot bigger.

Did you compare their sizes? lol. He was just 4 months old when he became bigger than his father, Kuleng. Brono was my mother's favorite, next to Siwi. Maybe because he was Siwi's first son. And like Siwi, mom always brought Brono wherever she goes, even to her office.

But one day, an accident happened.......

I just arrived home from school when I noticed that there was a candle and a grave at our backyard. I asked my Mom and Dad, but they were both quiet. I hurried and went to the dogs' cages, and I noticed that Brono was not there. And so, I concluded, Brono was already gone. Dad told me that Brono was electric shocked. That morning, everybody was busy doing their own businesses, and Brono and Byoti were playing in our living room, when suddenly my ate and my mom heard someone barked so loud. They went to the Sala immediately and saw Brono, dead, beside the extension wire. They told me that my mom cried all day. I was also wounded. Everybody was lonely...

Because of that, we decided just to sell Byoti away, to forget about that incident. Also, we learned a lesson not to let our dogs play unattended.

Rest in peace, Brono..

Candy, the half, the vain.

After Ganda, another dog came to our family.

No, she's not a daughter of Siwi, neither Ganda's, she is a gift from my ate's boyfriend,

she is "Candy".

Candy is not hundred percent Shih Tzu, she is half pomeranian, that is why she is the noisiest dog in our home. Her voice is so thin that when she barks, my ears can't take it sometimes. Another quality of Candy is, she loves camera. Yes, she likes it when somebody takes her pictures. She's a cam-whore. And also, she's a jealous type. She quarrels to other dogs whom my ate carries, or pets. 

And, guess what, soon, Candy became Kuleng's mistress, and Siwi's rival (do you still know them?). lol Every time Siwi and Candy meets, they fight, till death. That's why we never let the two see each other, but we love them both. And also, not long after we recieved Candy, she and Kuleng had their first kids. :) The family slowly becomes bigger and bigger!

GANDA-ngot.

Not very long after Kuleng met Siwi, and Siwi met Kuleng, after all that romantic sweet stuff, or shall I say the Doggie style, lol, of course another extra family member came to life.

Actually they had 3 kids, and one of them is named "Ganda". Ganda's two siblings were sold  for our tuition fee in school, and Ganda was left for us. Unluckily, we were not able to take pictures of the two puppies sold. But we've got video. :)

Behold.... Ganda!! and me of course. :)

Ganda is my favorite. Why? I do not know. She is the closest dog to me, of all our dogs. And Because I am so fond of her, I called her Ganda-ngot. lol I have no idea why, I just thought of it, and soon everybody in our house started calling her Ganda-ngot also. Also, she's my favorite because she's the most behave among them. And whenever I arrive home, from school, Ganda always waits for me in our door to kiss me. :)

After Eve, here comes Adam. :)

No man is an island, they say. And of course, it also works with other living things, also with dogs. :)

Jealous with my mother(maybe, hehe) my ate Ivy also bought her first pet dog during her 18th birthday. According to her, she bought him because she was lonely living alone in her condominium in Manila. She named him "Kuleng". Yeah, it,s not only you who finds his name weird. His original name was "Menthol", and I don't really know where in the world "Kuleng" came from.

Kuleng is a serious, but sweet dog. I say serious because he is a very hot headed dog, especially when he's eating. Nothing can disturb him while his eating, unless you'd like to end up deaf because of his lout barks. But sweet, because he doesn't really care whatever you do to him (when he's not eating of course). Yes, whatever you do to him, hug him, play him, hold him high upside down, hug him again, and control his arms and feet like a stuff toy.

Of course, hardly avoided, Siwi and Kuleng became close, and soon, they became couples. lol. And later, they did it, "the thing" and later later, they had their first daughter...... (coming soon).
